By booking or using the services of AJ Moving Help LLC ("Company," "we," "us"), you ("Customer") agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Services Provided
AJ Moving Help LLC provides moving labor and coordination services, including:
- Full-service moving assistance
- Loading and unloading
- Packing and unpacking
- Furniture moving and rearranging
- Junk removal and haul-away
2. Transportation & Coverage
To provide efficient and cost-effective service, transportation for applicable jobs is completed using third-party rental trucks (e.g., U-Haul or similar providers). These rental vehicles include available protection coverage options through the rental provider.
By booking services, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Transportation may be performed using a rental vehicle
- Protection coverage is provided through the rental provider, not AJ Moving Help LLC
- The level of protection depends on the coverage plan selected
This structure allows us to deliver full-service moves at a lower cost while still providing access to transportation protection.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete move details at time of booking
- Disclose all heavy or specialty items (pianos, safes, appliances, etc.) in advance
- Ensure all items are packed and ready unless packing service was booked
- Ensure safe, accessible working conditions and available parking
- Be present or have an authorized adult representative throughout the job
Failure to disclose information may result in:
- Additional charges
- Delays
- Refusal of service
4. Care of Property
AJ Moving Help LLC takes reasonable care in handling all items. However, due to the nature of moving services, the customer acknowledges that:
- Minor wear (scratches, scuffs) can occur during normal moving operations
- Improper packing by the customer increases the risk of damage
- Pre-existing damage is not the responsibility of AJ Moving Help LLC
Customers are strongly encouraged to select appropriate coverage through the rental provider. Our total liability for any claim arising from services shall not exceed the total amount paid for that specific job.
5. Damage Claims Procedure
Any claims for damage must follow these steps:
- Must be reported within 24 hours of service completion
- Must include photos of the damaged item(s)
- Must include a written description of the issue
- Must be submitted to ajmovinghelp@gmail.com
Failure to report within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim. AJ Moving Help LLC will review all claims in good faith and work toward a fair resolution.
6. Payment Terms
- Services are billed at agreed hourly or flat rates communicated at the time of booking
- A minimum service duration applies to all jobs
- Time begins upon arrival and ends upon job completion
- For jobs where we provide transportation, a $100 deposit is collected at booking. This deposit goes toward truck rental and transportation expenses — it is not deducted from your labor rate. Labor is billed separately at the agreed hourly rate upon job completion. If truck expenses exceed $100 (e.g., for longer distances), the remaining balance will be reflected on your final bill.
- Labor-only jobs (no truck) require no deposit; payment is due upon completion
- Additional charges may apply for stairs, long carries, undisclosed items, or scope changes
7. Authorization
By booking services, you authorize AJ Moving Help LLC to:
- Charge for all services rendered
- Charge for additional time or services requested during the move
8. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice
- Same-day cancellations may result in a cancellation fee
- Rescheduling is subject to availability
- Deposits on cancelled jobs with sufficient notice will be refunded

9. Delays & Uncontrollable Factors
AJ Moving Help LLC is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Traffic or road conditions
- Weather
- Building restrictions or elevator access
- Customer readiness or access issues
We will communicate promptly if we anticipate being behind schedule.
10. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if:
- Working conditions are unsafe
- Items were not disclosed at booking
- The actual job scope significantly differs from what was booked
11. Chargebacks & Disputes
By booking services, you agree:
- To contact AJ Moving Help LLC directly to resolve any issues before initiating a dispute or chargeback
- That initiating a chargeback without first attempting resolution may be considered a violation of this agreement

12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific job
- AJ Moving Help LLC is not liable for indirect or incidental damages
- AJ Moving Help LLC is not liable for delays outside of our control
- AJ Moving Help LLC is not liable for issues related to rental vehicle operation
This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by AJ Moving Help LLC.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes not resolved directly shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Orange County, Florida.
14. Agreement
By booking services — online or verbally — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; the current version is always available on our website.
